Hi, I’m Morgan deleo.

I’m here to help you break free from those patterns, build self-compassion, and create the life you want. I specialize in working with individuals in their 20s and 30s who are navigating life transitions, tackling anxiety, and working to strengthen their relationship with themselves and others. Together, we’ll explore why these thoughts and behaviors occur, how to shift them, and how to sustain meaningful change.

As a trained EMDR therapist, I use evidence-based techniques to help you process trauma and move forward with clarity and confidence. I also incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches, tailored to meet your unique needs, ensuring you receive care that fits who you are and what you hope to achieve.

My ultimate goal is to empower you with the tools, insight, and confidence to navigate life’s challenges with resilience. I believe every person has the capacity to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Change can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to face it alone. Let’s work together to create the life you envision.

My Approach

In therapy, I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all solution because every person is unique. That’s why I use a blend of evidence-based approaches to meet you where you are and help you achieve your goals.

I draw from relational therapy to build a strong, supportive connection with you, creating a safe space for exploration and growth. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps process and heal past traumas, while Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) offers practical tools to challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Through Motivational Interviewing, we’ll tap into your inner drive to make meaningful changes, and with a human-centered approach, the focus is always on you—your experiences, strengths, and values.

My goal is to provide compassionate, tailored care that empowers you to navigate challenges and create the fulfilling life you deserve.

My background

I've known I wanted to be a therapist since I was 8 years old, always drawn to the helping field and fascinated by emotions and human connection. Throughout my childhood, I volunteered with those in need, gaining hands-on experience in understanding and supporting others. I earned my undergraduate degree in Child Development & Family Studies from WVU, with an emphasis on counseling. I then began my career by providing mental health support in a high school setting. I expanded my work in Baltimore City, offering in-home mental health support to individuals and families. After moving to Philadelphia, I completed my master’s in Clinical Social Work, specializing in Trauma-Informed Therapy. During the next few years, I continued to work with families, adults, and children in the therapeutic setting before moving to NYC, where I joined a group therapy practice and eventually became a supervisor. During my time in NYC, I also worked in a hospital providing emotional support to those with chronic illnesses. My diverse background allows me to bring a rich perspective to my therapy practice, grounded in compassion, expertise, and a deep commitment to helping others heal and thrive.
